Open Science activities have flourished in Japan in recent years. Stakeholders such as government agencies, academic institutions, university/academic libraries, and researchers are promoting Open Access, Research Data Sharing, and Open Education.

openscience.jp therefore provides information on Japan's activities and efforts, with the aim of contributing to the progress of open science internationally. We hope that it will help to achieve an open science that takes Japan's expertise beyond the boundaries of nations or disciplines.
